Also known as a christening (there is no difference), baptism is offered for all ages from new-born to adult, either in a seperate ceremony or during a normal service. It marks the beginning of a journey with God which continues for the rest of our lives, the first step in response to God's love.

The good news is that a christening service is free. There may be costs for a family party, for gifts, for christening robes - but the church is free.

The Vicar and the Ministry Team are here to offer support, advice and practical help at all the important times in family life.

Please contact the , a member of the Ministry Team or the for further advice.
